In the 25th minute Ciro Corderro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Ciro Corderro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31stth minute of the game Alonzo Haitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cochuna's Artemio Blasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Serafin Florian struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Artemio Blasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ClubAtléticoBocaJuniors. After the first half Cochuna were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Corderro to strike the kick off in the second half. When Lucio Argi fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ClubAtléticoBocaJuniors's protests and gave Lucio Argi a yellow card for diving instead. Fabricio Orain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Primitivo Rosalio made a huge save. After having played for 58 minutes, Ciro Corderro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cochuna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Corderro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ciro Corderro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cochuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Corderro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Primitivo Rosalio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Cochuna players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
