In the 8th minute, Canalejas AFC's Rodolfo Lamberto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cesar Abajas. Cesar Abajas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Cesar Abajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Lamberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Astor Felipo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloy Vargas's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canalejas AFC's goalkeeper Astor Felipo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Astor Felipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Kamikaze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Chuse to maneuver through the defense. When Rodolfo Lamberto came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Canalejas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Lamberto couldn't finish the play. After having played for 45 minutes, Rodolfo Lamberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canalejas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Lamberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodolfo Lamberto was the one to do the kick off. Kamikaze's Cesar Abajas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Lamberto in the 54th minute of play. Ignacio Abar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Felipo having to interfere. Ignacio Abars short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Astor Felipo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Vargas in the 60th minute of play forced Canalejas AFC's goalkeeper Astor Felipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Eloy Vargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Canalejas AFC's goalkeeper Astor Felipo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Abar. Astor Felipo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Ignacio Abar sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Canalejas AFC's zone, Ignacio Abar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Felipo came out of the goal and Ignacio Abar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Arturo Pagomari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervasio Meder got free with Astor Felipo in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kamikaze's Ignacio Abar got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eloy Vargas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Kamikaze's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rodolfo Lamberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Cesar Abajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Domeka in the 98th minute of play forced Kamikaze's goalkeeper Cesar Abajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
