The referee ignored Kamikaze's protests and gave Casimiro Chuse a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

55 minutes into the match, Bedele's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Vargas came free, but Juan Montae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Abajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Chucho, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Kamikaze's goalkeeper Cesar Abajas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Ranolfo. There was no doubt that Kamikaze were the better team. Kamikaze's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
