A collision led to Cochuna getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Silvestre Perico hit a great ball. Fabricio Lonzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. After Chabón's Felipe Gabon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Artemio Blasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Gauargi went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Americo Gustau fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cochuna's protests and gave Americo Gustau a yellow card for diving instead. Ovidio Videl kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Artemio Blasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Gauargi in the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in After Chabón's zone, Fabricio Orain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Gabon came out of the goal and Fabricio Orain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Gauargi in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Blasco saved Cochuna from getting behind. Fabricio Orain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Felipe Gabon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Corderro to strike the kick off in the second half. Felipe Gabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Corderro, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute.
