The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carmelo Balasi hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 5 minutes, Carmelo Balasi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granates and the Bedele players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Carmelo Balasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimeno Ignatius took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ubaldo Corderun. Granates's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Leonardo Ranolfo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ubaldo Corderun. When Cesar Peruxu fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bedele's protests and gave Cesar Peruxu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, one of Bedele:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bedele. Juan Montae had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Remigio Normando's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Gustavo Chucho fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bedele's protests and gave Gustavo Chucho a yellow card for diving instead. Gustavo Chucho hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Candido Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute, Granates's Ruperto Salvidor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juan Montae. Juan Montae yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 26th minute Ruperto Salvidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Montae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Chucho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ubaldo Corderun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Chucho struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ubaldo Corderun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bedele. 46 minutes into the match, Candido Richie notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bedele's Juan Montae. Juan Montae was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruperto Salvidor to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ruperto Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Juan Montae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ruperto Salvidor came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Granates fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Salvidor couldn't finish the play. Ubaldo Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Chucho, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Leonardo Ranolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ubaldo Corderun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Montae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Salvidor in the 73rd minute of the match. Gustavo Chucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gustavo Chucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bedele's Gustavo Chucho got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Granates's Ubaldo Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Ranolfo in the 88th minute of play. In the 98th minute, Candido Richie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Montae was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Granates's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
