Spectators: 7265 (Terracing: 5450, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jeronimo Sein got the match started through his kick off. If Jeronimo Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of F. C. de la Rivera booed when Monteverde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Policarpio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Monteverde's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Mendez came free, but Octavio Larpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Larpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Vitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gustavo Juvenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Joaquin Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Larpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Sein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Lucas Iaki made a huge save. Rolando Fortun kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Octavio Larpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Franco in the 36th minute of play. When Elpidio Rocio fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F. C. de la Rivera's protests and gave Elpidio Rocio a yellow card for diving instead. 37 minutes into the game, one of F. C. de la Rivera:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 41 played minutes F. C. de la Rivera got a freekick which was hit by Albino Mendez. With a little luck, F. C. de la Rivera's Lucas Iaki got control of the ball when Jeronimo Sein tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Jeronimo Sein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monteverde's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Sein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Iaki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Jeronimo Sein sped through F. C. de la Rivera's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Iaki. In the 58th minute of the match Marcos Fonda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Iaki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcos Fonda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucas Iaki. F. C. de la Rivera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Elpidio Rocio kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Inocencio Policarpio made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Iaki. F. C. de la Rivera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Santo Vitin kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Santo Vitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in F. C. de la Rivera's zone, Gustavo Juvenal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Iaki came out of the goal and Gustavo Juvenal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th match minute, F. C. de la Rivera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Soin to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Iaki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Sein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Inocencio Policarpio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Lucas Iaki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeronimo Sein's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Iaki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, F. C. de la Rivera's Timoteo Meder got a free kick in the 89th minute. There was no doubt that Monteverde were the better team. Monteverde's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
