Lucas Iaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Ricart in the 5th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evelio Perico in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Iaki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th match minute, F. C. de la Rivera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Soin to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Ruperto Paio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lisandro Eneas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Joaquin Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ruperto Paio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Albino Mendez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F. C. de la Rivera and the Bath City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Albino Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Lisandro Eneas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bath City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F. C. de la Rivera the free kick. The supporters of F. C. de la Rivera booed when Bath City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Eneas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Evelio Perico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lucas Iaki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. F. C. de la Rivera's Santo Vitin got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisito Ricart to make the kick off. Ruperto Paio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bath City's zone, Santo Vitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Paio came out of the goal and Santo Vitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisito Ricart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Lucas Iaki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, F. C. de la Rivera's Albino Mendez got a free kick in the 68th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Luisito Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bath City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Ricart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruperto Paio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Vitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Santo Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Paio having to interfere. Evelio Perico struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Lucas Iaki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bath City. In the 82nd minute, Joel Cresconio had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Joaquin Franco charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Franco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santo Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Paio having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Bath City's Evelio Perico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Iaki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bath City had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
