Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5540, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Celestino Estebano kicked off to start the match. After 2 minutes, Ismael Gartxot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buitres FC and the Club Deportivo San Martin players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Deportivo San Martin booed when Buitres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Gartxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Aznar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artemio Larpe came out and tried to block the shot, but Anselmo Aznar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Fidel Chico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Edelmiro Bartuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Lico kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes, Buitres FC's Ramon Ramos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Artemio Larpe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buitres FC reached it. Edelmiro Bartuelo came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo San Martin's Celestino Estebano. But to his dismay, Celestino Estebano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo San Martin's goalkeeper Artemio Larpe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Aznar. Anselmo Aznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Artemio Larpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Aznar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Artemio Larpe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Club Deportivo San Martin's Artemio Larpe got control of the ball when Ismael Gartxot tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Bingen in the 43rd minute of play forced Club Deportivo San Martin's goalkeeper Artemio Larpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo San Martin's goalkeeper Artemio Larpe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Gonzo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Haroldo Orlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artemio Larpe was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Anselmo Aznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Artemio Larpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Mendez in the 59th minute of play forced Club Deportivo San Martin's goalkeeper Artemio Larpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes, Anselmo Aznar made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Club Deportivo San Martin's Artemio Larpe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Aznar in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Larpe saved Club Deportivo San Martin from getting behind. Edelmiro Bartuelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fidel Chico in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo San Martin's zone, Delmar Bingen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Larpe came out of the goal and Delmar Bingen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Deportivo San Martin's Artemio Larpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Gonzo in the 82nd minute of play. Artemio Larpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Gartxot in the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo San Martin's zone, Anselmo Aznar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Larpe came out of the goal and Anselmo Aznar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Delmar Bingen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Anselmo Aznar came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Buitres FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Aznar couldn't finish the play. If Delmar Bingen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buitres FC's Anselmo Aznar got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
