Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anselmo Aznar took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ismael Gartxot's late challenge caught a Monteverde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Gartxot helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Ismael Gartxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octavio Larpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Bingen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Gonzo took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavio Larpe. Octavio Larpe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Anselmo Aznar put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Octavio Larpe. Octavio Larpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Aznar in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Delmar Bingen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Larpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Larpe came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Buitres FC's Lorenzo Gonzo. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Gonzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After having played for 35 minutes, Delmar Bingen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buitres FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Bingen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Monteverde's Octavio Larpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Gonzo in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Anselmo Aznar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavio Larpe. Monteverde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Aznar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Octavio Larpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Bingen, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 58 minutes of play, Buitres FC's Anselmo Aznar made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavio Larpe was left in no man's land by his defense there! With 65 minutes on the clock, Marcos Fonda commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Aznar in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavio Larpe saved Monteverde from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Sein notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Buitres FC's Edelmiro Bartuelo. Edelmiro Bartuelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the match, Inocencio Policarpio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edelmiro Bartuelo. Buitres FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inocencio Policarpio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. 77 minutes into the match, Monteverde's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Aznar came free, but Octavio Larpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Larpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Bingen in the 79th minute of play. Octavio Larpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Bingen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monteverde's Octavio Larpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Bingen in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Monteverde's goalkeeper Octavio Larpe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Gonzo. 93 minutes into the game, Delmar Bingen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octavio Larpe. Delmar Bingen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-8. 96 minutes into the match, Delmar Bingen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavio Larpe. Monteverde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmar Bingen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-9. When the match was over Buitres FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Monteverde throughout the match.
