Elvio Berenguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Niguel having to interfere. In the 19th minute Eleuterio Dantae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Niguel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Sotil having to interfere. Elvio Berenguer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Nicolas Niguel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Elvio Berenguer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Columbo to make the kick off. Alvarado M.D.P's Nicolas Niguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Berenguer in the 53rd minute of play. Eleuterio Dantae might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Niguel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Niguel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Berenguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute Elvio Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Niguel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Nueva Lemuria getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jose Merexildo hit a great ball. After 90 played minutes Nueva Lemuria got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Maurin. In the 93rd minute, Elvio Berenguer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
