When Robustiano Mattin came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Cabezon F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Mattin couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teo Sendoa got free with Eustacio Florinio in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sin Apuro FC's Placido Jerrold got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Patricio Mitxel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustacio Florinio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Benedicto Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prospero Jerico to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Esteve Polo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
