Enzo Hermelando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Dodorol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florencio Karlo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornelio Garikoitz having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Sayveon in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Garikoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 minutes, Esteve Bitxintxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Retamal AFC and the Pocitos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cornelio Garikoitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Sayveon's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Roldan during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pocitos booed when Retamal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Roldan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Emeterio hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Leonel Roldan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Hermelando having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Ramon Dodorol took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Enzo Hermelando to make any attempt to save it. During the 42nd minute of the match Esteve Bitxintxo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Esteve Bitxintxo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Retamal AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Esteve Bitxintxo hit a great ball.

Cornelio Garikoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Karlo in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Gerardo Sayveon could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Cornelio Garikoitz however easily saved by the left post. In the 67th minute, Isidoro Emeterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Roldan in the 70th minute of play forced Pocitos's goalkeeper Enzo Hermelando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Emeterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Enzo Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Dodorol hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Retamal AFC's Cornelio Garikoitz got control of the ball when Gerardo Sayveon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerardo Sayveon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cornelio Garikoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pocitos's Enzo Hermelando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Roldan in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Leonel Roldan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Retamal AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Roldan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Roldan in the 95th minute of play forced Pocitos's goalkeeper Enzo Hermelando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pocitos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
