Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 30) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Prudencio Dacio made the kick off which started today's match. Atalaya's Joaquin Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Handi in the 2nd minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cochangasta AFC! The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Indar got free with Joaquin Martinez in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd match minute, Atalaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Txindoki to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Atalaya's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Handi came free, but Joaquin Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Prudencio Dacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Laurendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Atalaya's Alberto Jesco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celedonio Laurendi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prudencio Dacio in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celedonio Laurendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Cochangasta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Dacio came free, but Celedonio Laurendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elpidio Ubelteso during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Celedonio Laurendi came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Atalaya's Alberto Jesco. But to his dismay, Alberto Jesco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 53rd minute Elpidio Ubelteso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Prudencio Dacio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Claudio Patrido kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Joaquin Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Indar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th match minute, Atalaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Kemen to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Kepa kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Alberto Jesco came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Atalaya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Jesco couldn't finish the play. Celedonio Laurendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Dacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Jesco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Celedonio Laurendi made a huge save. Cochangasta AFC's Celedonio Laurendi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Cochangasta AFC from getting a goal against them. Osvaldo Handi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osvaldo Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cochangasta AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atalaya's performance. The match ended with a win for Atalaya.
