Spectators: 6693 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 30) Cochangasta AFC's Osvaldo Handi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Osvaldo Handi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cochangasta AFC and the Retamal AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Osvaldo Handi hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Leonel Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute, Ramon Dodorol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Laurendi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Leonel Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celedonio Laurendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Indar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cornelio Garikoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Cochangasta AFC were awarded a corner. Eustaquio Cai went to the cornerflag to take it. Osvaldo Handi made a great header on Cochangasta AFC's corner, it was just that Retamal AFC's Cornelio Garikoitz managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 34th minute, Elpidio Ubelteso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 38 minutes, Fulgencio Indar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cochangasta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Indar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pastor Lertxun's late challenge caught a Cochangasta AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Lertxun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Pastor Lertxun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Osvaldo Handi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Garikoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Dodorol made a kick off. Leonel Roldan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Celedonio Laurendi made a huge save. Celedonio Laurendi stood somewhat misplaced when Ramon Dodorol came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 71 minute. Celedonio Laurendi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonel Roldan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 74 minute of play. Cornelio Garikoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Indar in the 78th minute of play. Cornelio Garikoitz came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Cochangasta AFC's Osvaldo Handi. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Handi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Cochangasta AFC's Celedonio Laurendi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Cochangasta AFC from getting a goal against them. Ramon Dodorol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celedonio Laurendi having to make a save. In the 91st minute, Fulgencio Indar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cochangasta AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. The supporters of Retamal AFC booed when Cochangasta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Polentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Retamal AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
