Saturnino Horado might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornelio Garikoitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnino Horado ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Ayala kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Retamal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Francesco to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute of the match Ruben Fernandez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cornelio Garikoitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Esteve Bitxintxo charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteve Bitxintxo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Esteve Bitxintxo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Saturnino Horado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornelio Garikoitz having to make a save. Cornelio Garikoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Horado, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Leonel Roldan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Gabon having to interfere. When Leonel Roldan came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Retamal AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Roldan couldn't finish the play. Samuel Gabon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Dodorol in the 31st minute of the match. Adrian Guerau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 48 minutes into the match, Leonel Roldan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cochequingam's Samuel Gabon. Samuel Gabon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Guerau to strike the kick off in the second half. Adrian Guerau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Cochequingam's Aristides Senen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cornelio Garikoitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Adrian Guerau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Garikoitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Adrian Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cornelio Garikoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Txema sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Adrian Guerau put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cornelio Garikoitz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Guerau in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Garikoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aristides Senen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Garikoitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Aristides Senen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Retamal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Guerau came free, but Cornelio Garikoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Cochequingam's Adrian Guerau fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 84 minutes, Jesus Loco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Retamal AFC and the Cochequingam players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cornelio Garikoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Guerau in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match Anselmo Figueroa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cornelio Garikoitz skillfully saved the ball. If Leonel Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Cochequingam were the better team. Cochequingam's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
