The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Txordon got free with Cornelio Garikoitz in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Mikelats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Dodorol, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Retamal AFC's Ramon Dodorol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haroldo Mikelats narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Dodorol made a kick off. In the 65th minute of the match Aaron Jusepe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haroldo Mikelats showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ramon Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to The Catalyst FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Marcelino Ramond hit a great ball. It was a penalty for Retamal AFC! When the referee ended the match the The Catalyst FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
