Cesar Abascal took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Martinez. Horacio Martinez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Cesar Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agroservicios Izuzquiza's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Abascal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horacio Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horacio Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Soin in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Abascal in the 22nd minute of play forced Covunco's goalkeeper Horacio Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cesar Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agroservicios Izuzquiza's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Abascal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horacio Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute Cesar Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Hugo Quintun made a precise shot to the right of Pastor Manni. Agroservicios Izuzquiza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Agroservicios Izuzquiza's Pastor Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Suarez in the 39th minute of play. Horacio Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Fertus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Fertus made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Quintun in the 52nd minute of play forced Agroservicios Izuzquiza's goalkeeper Pastor Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Cirilo Teodor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Covunco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agroservicios Izuzquiza the free kick. The supporters of Agroservicios Izuzquiza booed when Covunco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Teodor didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hugo Quintun came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Covunco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Quintun couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norberto Suarez in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pastor Manni saved Agroservicios Izuzquiza from getting behind. With a little luck, Covunco's Horacio Martinez got control of the ball when Cesar Abascal tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Hugo Quintun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Hugo Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Covunco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Quintun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norberto Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Agroservicios Izuzquiza's zone, Hugo Quintun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Manni came out of the goal and Hugo Quintun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Agroservicios Izuzquiza's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Suarez came free, but Pastor Manni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Ezequiel Fertus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agroservicios Izuzquiza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Fertus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Covunco's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
