Abel Liberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the San Cristobal defense, Gregorio Lluc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Liberto. The San Cristobal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Liberto should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the match, San Cristobal's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Lluc came free, but Abel Liberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Gregorio Lluc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Cristobal's Abel Liberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severo Kismi struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Leandro Mederi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Cristobal. In the 25th minute, Gregorio Lluc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CERRO TORRE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Abel Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Lluc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of CERRO TORRE booed when San Cristobal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Guillem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Liberto came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by CERRO TORRE's Gregorio Lluc. But to his dismay, Gregorio Lluc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Bruno Ariando came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the CERRO TORRE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Ariando couldn't finish the play. Gregorio Lluc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Liberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Lluc in the 41st minute of play. After 45 played minutes San Cristobal got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Paio. The San Cristobal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CERRO TORRE were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Ariando was the one to do the kick off. Bruno Ariando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Liberto having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Bruno Ariando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CERRO TORRE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Cristobal the free kick. In the 57th minute, Bruno Ariando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in San Cristobal's zone, Bruno Ariando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Liberto came out of the goal and Bruno Ariando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Liberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Lluc went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafin Guillem during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, Serafin Guillem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Maximiliano Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severo Kismi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Lluc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Liberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Gregorio Lluc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CERRO TORRE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Lluc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The San Cristobal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CERRO TORRE's performance. The match ended with a win for CERRO TORRE.
