Spectators: 7270 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) CERRO TORRE's Bruno Ariando started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Ariando in the 4th minute of play forced Ferrocarril Oeste's goalkeeper Anselmo Fidencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Kelemen hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Ignacio Araoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leandro Mederi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Araoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes, Ignacio Araoz made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. CERRO TORRE's Leandro Mederi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ferrocarril Oeste's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Gregorio Lluc scored to the left of an out of position Anselmo Fidencio, making the score, 1-1. After 27 minutes of play, Ferrocarril Oeste's Ignacio Araoz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leandro Mederi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruno Ariando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Anselmo Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Quintun walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Dario Ibar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 41 played minutes, CERRO TORRE's Natalio Erlantz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anselmo Fidencio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CERRO TORRE reached it. When Gustavo Kelemen fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CERRO TORRE's protests and gave Gustavo Kelemen a yellow card for diving instead. CERRO TORRE's Cleto Telmo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The CERRO TORRE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ferrocarril Oeste were winning 1-2.

Anselmo Fidencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Ariando in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Anselmo Nuñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leandro Mederi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Ibar in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Ignacio Araoz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leandro Mederi, 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferrocarril Oeste's Ignacio Araoz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leandro Mederi. That made the score 1-4 after 72 minutes of play. The supporters of CERRO TORRE booed when Ferrocarril Oeste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by German Munio from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Leandro Mederi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Benjamin Kauldi hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. CERRO TORRE's Erubiel Quintun couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ferrocarril Oeste. The CERRO TORRE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ferrocarril Oeste were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
