Eusebio Sendoa was shown his second yellow card after 15 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Inocencio Jorrin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leandro Mederi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Inocencio Jorrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. CERRO TORRE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guayquiraró FC the free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregorio Lluc was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd minute Gregorio Lluc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Erlantz kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Gustavo Kelemen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. Leandro Mederi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Jorrin in the 68th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Lluc couldn't finish the play. Armando Lano's late challenge caught a CERRO TORRE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Lano helped the player get up and apologised. Armando Lano hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. During the 77th minute of the match Godfredo Goi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Godfredo Goi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guayquiraró FC's goalkeeper Rafael Belmiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafael Belmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Lluc, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. CERRO TORRE were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
