A wasted opportunity for Guayquiraró FC. 28 minutes into the match, Guayquiraró FC's Inocencio Jorrin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Liberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Serafin Guillem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Liberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Jorrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Guayquiraró FC's Rafael Belmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Kismi in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute San Cristobal were awarded a corner. Pascual Licerio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led San Cristobal's Pascual Licerio to fire away a dangerous shot which Rafael Belmiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Severo Kismi came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the San Cristobal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Kismi couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the game, San Cristobal's Severo Kismi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Belmiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Serafin Guillem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. With an all-out effort, Guayquiraró FC's Abel Liberto threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wilfredo Lluterio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. San Cristobal had played much better football throughout.
