The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Angel Casomiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santo Toribio having to make a save. Moises Arixo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roberto Quintana. Club Fernandez Oro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roberto Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Gartzea in the 16th minute of play. A hard shot 18 in the game by Simon Guilabertus from a close distance when the talented Santo Toribio managed to make a qualified save. Ñacuñán FC's players were relieved. If Bonifacio Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Club Fernandez Oro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Eneas to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Gartzea got in the 32nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Roberto Quintana handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Club Fernandez Oro got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Eneas. Roberto Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Gartzea in the 35th minute of play. If Pedro Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Quintana came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Ñacuñán FC's Bonifacio Gartzea. But to his dismay, Bonifacio Gartzea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ñacuñán FC's zone, Angel Casomiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Toribio came out of the goal and Angel Casomiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Rayman to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Angel Casomiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Toribio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Jose Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Club Fernandez Oro's Roberto Quintana got control of the ball when Bonifacio Gartzea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bonifacio Gartzea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Quintana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. With a little luck, Club Fernandez Oro's Roberto Quintana got control of the ball when Bonifacio Gartzea tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Pedro Rayman came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Ñacuñán FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Rayman couldn't finish the play. Pedro Rayman struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Roberto Quintana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ñacuñán FC. If Bonifacio Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Quintana having to interfere. Simon Guilabertus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Toribio having to interfere. Angel Casomiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
