Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Valente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Delmiro Martino notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Rosario Central's Albino Tiadoro. Albino Tiadoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, Maschwitz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Lorien came free, but Lázaro Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lázaro Mergildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Modesto Gartxot went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Jonathan Eskuin fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maschwitz FC's protests and gave Jonathan Eskuin a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Eskuin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Edgardo Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Mergildo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Maschwitz FC defense, Modesto Gartxot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lázaro Mergildo. The Maschwitz FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lázaro Mergildo should have stopped the shot. Arnulfo Quentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Albino Tiadoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Maschwitz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Gartxot came free, but Lázaro Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Lázaro Mergildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Gartxot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Edgardo Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosario Central's Albino Tiadoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Martino in the 82nd minute of play. If Arnulfo Quentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Jonathan Eskuin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Modesto Gartxot was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rosario Central's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
