El Gallinero's Dalmacio Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Eutropio in the 9th minute of play. Bonifacio Polentzi struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Dalmacio Olivar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Cultural. After 11 played minutes El Gallinero got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Vitin. A collision led to El Cultural getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Fidel Piearres hit a great ball. Bonifacio Polentzi's late challenge caught a El Gallinero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Polentzi helped the player get up and apologised. Amadeo Quintin made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Candido Madeo sent off a good shot on target. Laureano Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, El Cultural's goalkeeper Amadeo Quintin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Madeo. If Eloy Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Irrintzi in the 40th minute of play forced El Cultural's goalkeeper Amadeo Quintin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Cultural's Amadeo Quintin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Irrintzi in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Irrintzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, El Cultural's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Irrintzi came free, but Amadeo Quintin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Laureano Eutropio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmacio Olivar was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. When Enrique Irrintzi came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the El Gallinero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Irrintzi couldn't finish the play. Amadeo Quintin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Madeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the El Cultural defense, Candido Madeo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeo Quintin. The El Cultural fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeo Quintin should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Candido Madeo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeo Quintin was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 84 minutes into the game, El Gallinero's Candido Madeo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeo Quintin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Candido Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Amadeo Quintin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Irrintzi in the 90th minute of play forced El Cultural's goalkeeper Amadeo Quintin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Candido Madeo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeo Quintin. El Cultural's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Madeo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Candido Madeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Quintin having to interfere. El Gallinero's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
