Cirilo Meder kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. If Donato Quinten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Matia came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Telecaster FC's Federico Garaona. But to his dismay, Federico Garaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some careless play in the River Plate defense, Donato Quinten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Matia. The River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Matia should have stopped the shot. River Plate's Rolando Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Garaona in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Siro Toribio got a free kick in the 20th minute. Rolando Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Garaona in the 21st minute of play. Donato Quinten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rolando Matia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Telecaster FC booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Meder didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Siro Toribio hit a great ball. Rolando Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Garaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Telecaster FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Tipi came free, but Evelio Lop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. River Plate's Rolando Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Garaona in the 42nd minute of play. If Federico Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Donato Quinten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Quinten to make the kick off. Federico Garaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rolando Matia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Telecaster FC's Ruperto Estebano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ruperto Estebano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Telecaster FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ruperto Estebano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 81st minute, Ruperto Estebano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telecaster FC's Donato Quinten got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Donato Quinten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Matia came out of the goal and Donato Quinten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Federico Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Matia having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Donato Quinten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Matia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telecaster FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
