Casimiro Shepherd hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When C.A. Edgard Soin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casimiro Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, C.A. CASTIGADORES's goalkeeper Aquilino Henric had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Claude. C.A. CASTIGADORES's Aquilino Henric proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. CASTIGADORES from getting a goal against them. Omar Claude blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquilino Henric having to make a save.

Polvaredas's Valentin Beturian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Araoz in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Omar Claude hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes Polvaredas got a freekick which was hit by German Sauveur. Valentin Beturian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Araoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Araoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Valentin Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Zacarias Ado notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Polvaredas's Valentin Beturian. Valentin Beturian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 75 played minutes Polvaredas got a freekick which was hit by Omar Claude. In the 79th minute, C.A. CASTIGADORES's Felipe Araoz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 83 minutes into the match, Felipe Araoz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valentin Beturian, 0-3. Aristides Baldovino kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Eugenio Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Omar Claude was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polvaredas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. CASTIGADORES the free kick. The supporters of C.A. CASTIGADORES booed when Polvaredas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Claude didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.A. CASTIGADORES eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
