In the 12th minute, Evaristo Rexino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Fernado. The goal made the score 1-0. Maximino Rico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Avellaneda in the 17th minute of the match. Marcos Fernado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Cidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Esther AFC's Haroldo Oinaz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Adan Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Gaboto FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Cristobal Frisco hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvio Avellaneda made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Gaboto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Cidro came free, but Marcos Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Ferran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes in the game, Tobias Ferran fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maximino Rico having to interfere. Gaboto FC's Marcos Fernado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Vargas in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Nicolas Cidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Fernado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Cristobal Frisco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaboto FC and the Esther AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gaboto FC's Cristobal Frisco got a free kick in the 80th minute. Evaristo Rexino's late challenge caught a Gaboto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Rexino helped the player get up and apologised. Evaristo Rexino hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Nicolas Cidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Fernado having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Gaboto FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esther AFC:s goal. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Esther AFC. Astor Bortzaioriz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcos Fernado. 3-0. The Esther AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
