After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Silvio Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaboto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Avellaneda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Vito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Avellaneda in the 5th minute of play forced Maximus AFC's goalkeeper Herminio Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Maximus AFC's Anacleto Umbruso got a free kick in the 7th minute. Marcos Fernado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Umbruso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Silvio Avellaneda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ignacio Loramendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Herminio Vito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Silvio Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Maximus AFC's zone, Silvio Avellaneda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Vito came out of the goal and Silvio Avellaneda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Avellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Herminio Vito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Ignacio Loramendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Gaboto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Cefero came free, but Marcos Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Silvio Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaboto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Avellaneda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ignacio Loramendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvio Avellaneda to make the kick off. Siro Lizar got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Anacleto Umbruso. 69 minutes into the match, Maximus AFC's goalkeeper Herminio Vito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Baleren. Marcos Fernado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Cefero in the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Silvio Avellaneda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Herminio Vito, 1-2. Ignacio Loramendi charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignacio Loramendi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gaboto FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. In the 88th minute, Silvio Avellaneda made a precise shot to the right of Herminio Vito. Maximus AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Silvio Avellaneda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Silvio Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Maximus AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gaboto FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
