Spectators: 7234 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teodoro Jakobe got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Severo Gotzon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maximus AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quinquela Martín the free kick. The supporters of Quinquela Martín booed when Maximus AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximo Ralondo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Pablo Lucila came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Quinquela Martín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Lucila couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Quinquela Martín's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Cefero came free, but Daniel Eufemio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Marcelino Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Eufemio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcelino Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Vito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Jakobe, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Herminio Vito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Lucila went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute, Bonifacio Chuse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quinquela Martín's Daniel Eufemio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Felipillo in the 34th minute of play. Pablo Lucila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Herminio Vito made a huge save. Marcelino Cefero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute of the match Maximus AFC got a corner. Quinquela Martín's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nereo Macias ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Nereo Macias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Quinquela Martín's Daniel Eufemio did a great save. Pascual Felipillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Pablo Lucila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Maximus AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Jakobe came free, but Herminio Vito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Eufemio was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Marcelino Cefero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelino Cefero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Pascual Felipillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Quinquela Martín's Teodoro Jakobe in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Severo Gotzon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. After 80 played minutes Maximus AFC got a freekick which was hit by Severo Gotzon. After a defensive mix-up in Maximus AFC's zone, Pablo Lucila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Vito came out of the goal and Pablo Lucila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximus AFC's Pascual Felipillo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Maximus AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
