Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abelardo Dalmu started the match with the kick off. Gaboto FC's Marcos Fernado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Dalmu in the 5th minute of play. Ignacio Loramendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvio Avellaneda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Santos Furtado firmly grabbed it by the left post. Saul Errando's late challenge caught a Gaboto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Errando helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Kohe Kohe FC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Errando. If Silvio Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ignacio Loramendi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaboto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Loramendi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zacarias Baleren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes Kohe Kohe FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Hitz. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Silvio Avellaneda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 34th minute Abelardo Dalmu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Fernado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gaboto FC's Ignacio Loramendi got a free kick in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Gaboto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Dalmu came free, but Marcos Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gaboto FC's zone, Narciso Guerau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Fernado came out of the goal and Narciso Guerau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Furtado acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cristobal Frisco. Silvio Avellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvio Avellaneda was the one to do the kick off. Agustin Elodio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Zacarias Baleren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaboto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Baleren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Avellaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Furtado having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Guerau during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Narciso Guerau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Abelardo Dalmu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Fernado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacio Loramendi hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. During the 68th minute of the match Narciso Guerau completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Narciso Guerau a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Kohe Kohe FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Leopoldo Bero hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Silvio Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes, Angelo Hitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kohe Kohe FC and the Gaboto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvio Avellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Santos Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Silvio Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gaboto FC had played much better football throughout.
