But to his dismay, Gonzalo Feo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Gaboto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Txanton came free, but Marcos Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Fernado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Feo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Gonzalo Feo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaboto FC's Marcos Fernado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ermegildo Txanton took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Fernado. Marcos Fernado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Gaboto FC defense, Ermegildo Txanton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Fernado. The Gaboto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Fernado should have stopped the shot. Gonzalo Feo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Marcos Fernado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ulapes. After 46 played minutes Gaboto FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Frisco. After the first half Ulapes were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With an all-out effort, Ulapes's Marcos Fernado threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ermegildo Txanton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 54 minutes into the game, Silvio Avellaneda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ignacio Cai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Gaboto FC's Ignacio Loramendi got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Ulapes's Ermegildo Txanton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Fernado. Marcos Fernado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Silvio Avellaneda might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignacio Cai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvio Avellaneda ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ignacio Loramendi came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Gaboto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Loramendi couldn't finish the play. Ermegildo Txanton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gonzalo Feo in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcos Fernado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gonzalo Feo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 72nd playminute. In the 75th match minute, Ulapes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Sol to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Feo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Fernado having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Ulapes's Marcos Fernado threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ermegildo Txanton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ermegildo Txanton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Fernado having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Ermegildo Txanton took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Marcos Fernado to make any attempt to save it.
