Maximino Rico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaboto FC's Ignacio Loramendi got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, Gaboto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Ferran to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Rico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Avellaneda in the 37th minute. In the 65th match minute, Esther AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Matias Palben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Fernado having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Gaboto FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
