Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 4 minutes into the game, Martin Oinaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Higuera the free kick. After a rather tough play, Milo's Martin Oinaz got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Clemente Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Milo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! With a little luck, Milo's Jacinto Sandaili got control of the ball when Saul Olayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Higuera's zone, Angelo Sarracino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Leheren came out of the goal and Angelo Sarracino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Milo booed when Higuera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Higuera getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Clemente Truylos hit a great ball. Cleto Curcio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luisito Leheren. Higuera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 26th minute, Saul Olayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Roque Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Olayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jacinto Sandaili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Clemente Truylos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jacinto Sandaili, passed just outside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roque Hartz in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Sandaili saved Milo from getting behind. Saul Olayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jacinto Sandaili made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Pirmin to make the kick off. When Milo's Evaristo Pirmin in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Higuera's goalie prevented a goal. Jacinto Sandaili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Hartz, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Hartz in the 55th minute of play forced Milo's goalkeeper Jacinto Sandaili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roque Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Sarracino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luisito Leheren firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Evaristo Pirmin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luisito Leheren. That made the score 1-1 in the 66 minute of play. Evaristo Pirmin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Gaudencio Pelagius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Atilano Mede came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Higuera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Mede couldn't finish the play. Evaristo Pirmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Milo's Jacinto Sandaili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Olayo in the 82nd minute of play. Cleto Curcio walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Angelo Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Mario Cristofor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Higuera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Milo the free kick. In the 90th minute, Mario Cristofor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 94 in the game by Angelo Sarracino from a close distance when the talented Luisito Leheren managed to make a qualified save. Higuera's players were relieved. Higuera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cleto Curcio ran over to the corner to take the kick.
