Isidro Ebardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Truylos in the 6th minute of play. Saul Olayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Cirilo Araoz made a precise shot to the right of Luisito Leheren. Higuera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luisito Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Araoz in the 15th minute of the match. If Damian Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute, Damian Duarte made a precise shot to the right of Luisito Leheren. Higuera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 29th minute, Damian Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 31 minutes, Damian Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rapelli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Saul Olayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Cirilo Araoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rapelli's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Araoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Leheren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Atarratze kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Isidro Ebardo came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Higuera's Saul Olayo. But to his dismay, Saul Olayo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Higuera players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rapelli were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roque Hartz to strike the kick off in the second half. Rapelli's Damian Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Higuera's zone, Cirilo Araoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Leheren came out of the goal and Cirilo Araoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Luisito Leheren made a huge save. After 62 minutes, Clemente Truylos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Higuera and the Rapelli players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luisito Leheren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Duarte in the 63rd minute. Saul Olayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cirilo Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Olayo in the 80th minute of play forced Rapelli's goalkeeper Isidro Ebardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Higuera's Saul Olayo in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rapelli's goalie prevented a goal. Cirilo Araoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Luisito Leheren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
