The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th match minute, Milo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Paskal to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Sandaili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Cortez in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Gamus in the 36th minute of play forced Milo's goalkeeper Jacinto Sandaili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregorio Atarrabi in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Sandaili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 minutes, Justino Muc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpo and the Milo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Olimpo's Justino Muc got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Gregorio Atarrabi made the kick off in the second half. Milo's Evaristo Pirmin got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Gois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Sarracino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Milo's Angelo Sarracino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Gois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacinto Sandaili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Pirmin couldn't finish the play. Angelo Sarracino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Gois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Anselmo Cortez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Herbert Gaszynski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert Gaszynski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Milo's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Cortez came free, but Jacinto Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Herbert Gaszynski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Milo's Jacinto Sandaili. Jacinto Sandaili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Herbert Gaszynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jacinto Sandaili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herbert Gaszynski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Jacinto Sandaili made a huge save.
