The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Ladislao Rodas made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sanduru kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The referee ignored Atlanta's protests and gave Pascual Isaio a yellow card for diving instead. After 98 played minutes Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Isaio. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The San Telmo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atlanta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
