The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Manni was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Mendebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Luix having to interfere. Anier Luix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Manni in the 55th minute of play. Anier Luix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Mendebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sébila's goalkeeper Anier Luix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ricardo Mendebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Ricardo Mendebal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sébila's Anier Luix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Manni in the 73rd minute of play. Anselmo Manni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santos Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sébila getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Anselmo Remicio hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Manni in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anier Luix saved Sébila from getting behind. Ricardo Mendebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Luix having to interfere. Anselmo Manni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Anier Luix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sébila's Teobaldo Ted got a free kick in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Anselmo Manni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayacucho's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Manni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Luix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anier Luix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sébila players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ayacucho.
