Godfredo Min might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guido Bermudez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. San Lorenzo's Guido Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Umbruso in the 16th minute of play. Vinicio Guillem kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Miguel Vasco, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Guido Bermudez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Umbruso, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. San Lorenzo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JAMAICA NP the free kick. Cornelio Umbruso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Bermudez having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, JAMAICA NP's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Tajo came free, but Victorino Iaki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
