During the 10th minute of the match Pascual Isaio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ricardo Mendebal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramon Merexildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Mendebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ramon Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Anselmo Manni made the kick off in the second half. The Ayacucho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Anselmo Manni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute.
