Primitivo Frutos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Donio in the 5th minute of play. Primitivo Frutos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robustiano Donio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in El Fortín de Liniers's zone, Robustiano Donio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Frutos came out of the goal and Robustiano Donio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santiago Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Primitivo Frutos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Nesor's late challenge caught a San Telmo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robustiano Donio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodosio Haritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eduardo Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as San Telmo's Robustiano Donio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Primitivo Frutos. That made the score 3-0 after 36 minutes of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Teodosio Haritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Fortín de Liniers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Haritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Tadeo Matei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 49 minutes into the match, San Telmo's Santiago Vachon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Primitivo Frutos narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Robustiano Donio made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Igor Caton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Santiago Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Liniers's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Vachon came free, but Primitivo Frutos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Telmo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
