Ernesto Arlo came out of the goal and Anselmo Manni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Arlo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Manni in the 93rd minute. With his leg Ernesto Arlo managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Ayacucho's Anselmo Manni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 98th minute of the match Florencio Urko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Arlo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Ayacucho players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
