Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robustiano Donio took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Santiago Vachon came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the San Telmo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Vachon couldn't finish the play. Guido Bermudez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Vachon's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Guido Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Vachon in the 8th minute of the match. Robustiano Donio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. San Telmo's Victorio Santikurtz suffered a concussion after 10 minutes and had to leave the field. Vinicio Guillem kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Guido Bermudez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Vachon went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eduardo Abalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Tajo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Santiago Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Guido Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido Bermudez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Vachon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristian Sanduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Vachon scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guido Bermudez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Vinicio Guillem was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Casomiro made a kick off. Guido Bermudez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sanduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Guido Bermudez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robustiano Donio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 55 minute of play. Manuel Sauveur's late challenge caught a San Telmo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Sauveur helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Sauveur to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Manuel Sauveur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Abalos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Santiago Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Robustiano Donio rounded San Lorenzo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-6. Genaro Osasun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guido Bermudez having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Santiago Vachon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Alejandro Tajo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Guido Bermudez came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by San Telmo's Santiago Vachon. But to his dismay, Santiago Vachon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. San Telmo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
