After a rather tough play, El Fortín de Liniers's Eriberto Botello got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Liniers's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Tajo came free, but Primitivo Frutos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Lorenzo's Guido Bermudez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the game, Tadeo Matei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Fortín de Liniers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo the free kick. After a rather tough play, El Fortín de Liniers's Tadeo Matei got a free kick in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Nestor Casomiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Primitivo Frutos. El Fortín de Liniers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nestor Casomiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Primitivo Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Guillem in the 26th minute of the match. With a little luck, San Lorenzo's Guido Bermudez got control of the ball when Teodosio Haritz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1-1 became the score in the 32nd minute when Teodosio Haritz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nestor Casomiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Frutos having to interfere. Guido Bermudez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodosio Haritz went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 48th minute Nestor Casomiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Caton to make the kick off. San Lorenzo's Nestor Casomiro got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guido Bermudez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Haritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes of play El Fortín de Liniers's Tadeo Matei was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when El Fortín de Liniers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Matei didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Haritz in the 78th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Guido Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Sauveur charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Sauveur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alejandro Tajo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. El Fortín de Liniers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of San Lorenzo for a fine match.
