San Lorenzo's Guido Bermudez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo from getting a goal against them. The Real Madrid F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Real Madrid F.C.'s Alonzo Bento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Florin to strike the kick off in the second half. When Vinicio Guillem fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo's protests and gave Vinicio Guillem a yellow card for diving instead. Vinicio Guillem kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Isidro Salamon hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
