After a rather tough play, Uspallata AFC's Jacobo Nayely got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 16th minute Jeronimo Liher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Jokin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Soin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Osvaldo Malvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Uspallata AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Liher came free, but Saverio Jokin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Saverio Jokin managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Social ST's Gustavo Eder fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 29 minutes, Dalmacio Abadia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Social ST and the Uspallata AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Social ST's Dalmacio Abadia got a free kick in the 29th minute. Basilio Guipuzkoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Osvaldo Malvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basilio Guipuzkoa to strike the kick off in the second half. Froilan Soin might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osvaldo Malvin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Froilan Soin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute, Dalmacio Abadia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Eder kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Social ST's goalkeeper Osvaldo Malvin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Basilio Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Hitz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Froilan Soin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Malvin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Gustavo Eder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saverio Jokin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Eder in the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Social ST's zone, Basilio Guipuzkoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Malvin came out of the goal and Basilio Guipuzkoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Jokin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Eder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Social ST's Osvaldo Malvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Guipuzkoa in the 86th minute of play. Basilio Guipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Malvin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basilio Guipuzkoa's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The Uspallata AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Uspallata AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
