Spectators: 6802 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvio Lamberto started the match with the kick off. Godfredo Vimaros short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Felix Quinteros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Santos Playo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Fabricio Berdoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute Santos Playo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Christobal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Playo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvio Lamberto struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Filiberto Christobal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UP Data FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Santos Playo managed to get in a good position for a shot. UP Data FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Playo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Christobal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Sarandí's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Diegotxe came free, but Filiberto Christobal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sarandí's Faustino Garin got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faustino Garin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvano Diegotxe took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filiberto Christobal. Filiberto Christobal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Faustino Garin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sarandí's Filiberto Christobal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Sarandí from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Playo got free with Filiberto Christobal in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Santos Playo got free in front of the goal in the 64th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Filiberto Christobal was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Samuel Naelio hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Lamberto in the 81st minute of play forced Sarandí's goalkeeper Filiberto Christobal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sarandí's zone, Santos Playo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Christobal came out of the goal and Santos Playo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Santos Playo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Filiberto Christobal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Koldo during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felix Quinteros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Garin in the 92nd minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Sarandí's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Lamberto came free, but Filiberto Christobal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
