Melquiades Che started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, C. A. Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Che came free, but Cayetano Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tacoyoj FC booed when C. A. Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Nemesio Eliu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacoyoj FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Eliu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Paz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16thth minute of the game Melquiades Che who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Academia's Cayetano Paz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 21 minutes, Saverio Tino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Academia and the Tacoyoj FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes C. A. Academia got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Tino. Melquiades Che fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Paz having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Melquiades Che had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Paz. C. A. Academia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melquiades Che was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Melquiades Che received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cayetano Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, C. A. Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Che came free, but Cayetano Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nemesio Eliu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Tacoyoj FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Eliu couldn't finish the play. Armando Obeko kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. C. A. Academia's Alberto Madaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alberto Madaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Madaleno to strike the kick off in the second half. Nemesio Eliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Paz having to interfere. C. A. Academia's Cayetano Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Che in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Tacoyoj FC booed when C. A. Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Mosen charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Mosen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C. A. Academia's Santiago Mosen got a free kick in the 68th minute. Melquiades Che recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Madaleno in the 74th minute of play forced Tacoyoj FC's goalkeeper Delmiro Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, C. A. Academia's Cayetano Paz got control of the ball when Nemesio Eliu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tacoyoj FC's Nemesio Eliu got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cayetano Paz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melquiades Che's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. If Pastor Guifre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Pastor Guifre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Alberto Madaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Academia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Madaleno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Alberto Madaleno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Delmiro Sesuldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Tacoyoj FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented C. A. Academia from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
