Cipriano Sayvion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Sesuldo having to interfere. Delmiro Sesuldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Sayvion in the 11th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Cipriano Sayvion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mussi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Sayvion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmiro Sesuldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Joanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Delmiro Sesuldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Sayvion in the 15th minute. In the 17th play minute Cipriano Sayvion came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Delmiro Sesuldo. 1-0. After 22 minutes of play, Tacoyoj FC's Rolando Elixio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Afonso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patricio Claris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mussi's zone, Patricio Claris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Afonso came out of the goal and Patricio Claris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melquiades Che recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melquiades Che might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Afonso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melquiades Che ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolando Elixio kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Tacoyoj FC's Delmiro Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Joanes in the 42nd minute of play. If Cipriano Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ubaldo Joanes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ubaldo Joanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Claris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Joel Afonso made a huge save. Tacoyoj FC's Delmiro Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Joanes in the 64th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Tacoyoj FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Joanes came free, but Delmiro Sesuldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mussi booed when Tacoyoj FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Pero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Afonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patricio Claris in the 78th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mussi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Joel Afonso, was totally fooled by Tacoyoj FC's Siro Pero, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Patricio Claris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacoyoj FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Claris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Afonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tacoyoj FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
