When Angelo Gilesindo fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bulnes's protests and gave Angelo Gilesindo a yellow card for diving instead. Angelo Gilesindo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Patricio Claris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacoyoj FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Claris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melquiades Che sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bulnes's zone, Melquiades Che stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Sadurni came out of the goal and Melquiades Che tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Melquiades Che got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nestor Sadurni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Claris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Melquiades Che came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Tacoyoj FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Che couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute Ivan Conrao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Pero kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melquiades Che to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Conrao in the 51st minute of play forced Tacoyoj FC's goalkeeper Delmiro Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tacoyoj FC's Delmiro Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Conrao in the 54th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolando Elixio during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tacoyoj FC's Rolando Elixio got a free kick in the 56th minute. Delmiro Sesuldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Conrao's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The referee ordered Rolando Elixio off the ground. 61 minutes into the match, Tacoyoj FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Nikola came free, but Delmiro Sesuldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Patricio Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Nikola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Delmiro Sesuldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bulnes's Carmelo Nikola got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Conrao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Delmiro Sesuldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
