UP Data FC's Silvio Lamberto got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of UP Data FC booed when Víboras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Garaile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Quinteros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Grabiel in the 34th minute of play. If Pablo Grabiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Quinteros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Grabiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Hugo Procopio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Gar having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Víboras's goalkeeper Romulo Gar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Procopio. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Grabiel to make the kick off. Romulo Gar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Procopio in the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Silvio Lamberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UP Data FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Lamberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvio Lamberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A well done corner resulted in Ignacio Bazkoare drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Víboras's goalkeeper. Braulio Rosario's late challenge caught a Víboras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braulio Rosario helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UP Data FC's Braulio Rosario got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Pablo Grabiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Quinteros made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Rameriz in the 83rd minute. UP Data FC's Hugo Procopio got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Víboras's Romulo Gar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Lamberto in the 89th minute of play. If David Rameriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Víboras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UP Data FC.
